Standard Error of Measurement (SEm) - Psychometric Glossary
A method of calculating a subject's test score, by accounting for any errors in that may occur in measurement. For example, a person with a raw score of 50 on a test, where there is a standard error of +/- 2 would have a more accurate score of 48-52.
