Norm Referenced - Psychometric Glossary
A type of test grading which provides an estimate of a subject's performance relative to a predefined population. Common tests that use a norm referenced measure include verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning tests, SATs, GREs, and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC).
