IQ Test (Intelligence Quotient Test) - Psychometric Glossary
A test designed to measure intelligence, which is often used as a predictor of a person's potential educational achievement or need for education assistance. The IQ Test is calculated by comparing the subject’s test results compared with a normalized sample who achieved the same score on the test, with 100 being the average.
