Internship - Psychometric Glossary
A type of on-the-job training, much like an apprenticeship. This usually unpaid or low-paying position allows a student or recent graduate to obtain valuable job experience and provides the chance to build a contact network, while giving the employer a cheap or free labourer. Some internships focus on low-level, or administrative tasks whilst others will give you more in-depth assignments.
