Cutscore - Psychometric Glossary
The equivalent of a passing score, the cutscore is the lowest score that a subject must achieve on a test to obtain a “pass.” If a subject’s score is less than the cutscore then they “fail” and may have to retake the test, or the score may be used to eliminate the subject as a candidate.
