Conceptual Reasoning Test - Psychometric Glossary
Also known as an Abstract Reasoning Test, this test is designed to measure the subject’s lateral thinking skills or fluid intelligence; as in the ability to identify patterns, logical rules, trends, and data, and to use this information to solve a problem. In basic terms the test measures the ability for a subject to "think on their feet" without reference to any past acquired skills or knowledge.
