Cognition - Psychometric Glossary
The process of acquiring knowledge, in the form of perception, reasoning, and intuition. Cognition is a higher-level brain function that involves the use of language skills, imagination, perception, and planning. Measuring cognition can give employers an idea of a potential employee’s ability to learn and understand new information.
