Assessment Centre / Assessment Center - Psychometric Glossary
Once the actual physical location where an assessment takes place. Now, it is a general term used to describe the administration and scoring of a range of different selection tools designed to measure a range of attributes. When used for development or succession planning purposes, this can be referred to as a development centre (or development center).
