16 PF (Personality Tool) - Psychometric Glossary
Also known as the 16 Personality Factor Model, this is a lengthy multiple-choice format questionnaire that is widely used as a tool for classifying personality. Developed by Raymond Cattell, this test is able to measure 16 specific personality traits, hence the name. The personality traits measured through the test are: warmth, reasoning, emotional stability, dominance, liveliness, rule-consciousness, social boldness, sensitivity, vigilance, abstractedness, privateness, apprehensiveness, openness to change, self-reliance, perfectionism, and tension.
